Protect your business reputation with Overdraft Coverage that automatically sweeps necessary funds into your account when you need them.
At Merchants Bank, our Overdraft Coverage helps you avoid the embarrassment of overdrawing, as well as the high cost of overdraft fees.
It works by transferring money from other accounts into your checking account – at $5 per transfer. You can use your Business Money Market Account or Accounts, another Business checking account or a combination of these to fund overdraft coverage, as long as you designate one as a primary funding account. An eligible Line of Credit can also be used, but not in combination with your Business Money Market or Business Checking Account.
In addition, eligible accounts have the safety net with Overdraft Assurance, which applies if funds are not available in those accounts, or if you’ve exceeded Money Market transfer limits. Standard transfer and overdraft fees apply to this option.
