Job Responsibilities
Prepare documentation for all credit related facilities, including Residential, Home Equity, Consumer, Commercial, and SBA transactions. Knowledge of the bank Credit Policy and documentation preparation procedures. Knowledge of effect of consumer regulations on loan documentation - specifically Reg. Z, RESPA, Flood Regulation, and HMDA. Knowledge of SBA regulations and documentation. Act as a resource to all bank personnel on documentation issues.
- Prepare loan documentation accurately and efficiently utilizing Laser Pro Lending software.
- Prepare loan documentation on a timely basis to meet scheduled loan closing deadlines.
- Prepare loan documentation according to established Credit Policy and documentation preparation procedures.
- Prepare loan documentation according to approved terms and conditions; confirm loan has been approved at the appropriate level of loan authority.
- Prepare loan documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adequate hazard insurance and flood hazard insurance coverage is obtained for collateral securing the loan, as appropriate.
- Act as a primary resource for documentation related questions to all bank personnel.
- Update HMDA reportable fields in Laser Pro system.
- Update internal loan tracking spreadsheets.
- Maintain written procedures for all aspects of the documentation preparation business process.
- Post closing review of commercial files. Back-up of post closing review to the File Library of residential, homelynx and consumer files.
- Participate in/lead any special projects and duties assigned.
- Cross train in other duties and functions within the department and train others as requested.
- Perform any and all duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Thorough working knowledge of Commercial, SBA, Residential, Home Equity, Consumer loan documentation.
- Thorough working knowledge of Reg. Z, HMDA, Flood Insurance, and RESPA requirements.
- Loan experience preferred.
- Experience with FISERV Loan System, Laser Pro Lending and Treev Voyager II preferable, and basic knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel software strongly desired.
- Ability to set priorities and organize time to meet deadlines. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Very good verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Very good problem solving skills.
- Ability to obtain and relate essential information with various levels of staff at appropriate times.
- Proven record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to adapt and learn various microcomputer applications.
