David J. Bosworth, Trust Investment Officer

David BosworthDavid joined Merchants Trust Company in 1999.  He has 17 years of industry experience.  He worked with Jim Miller to develop MTC's investment approach and partnership with Litman/Gregory.  David actively reviews portfolio and investment class performance.  He works with Litman/Gregory to assure the highest level of understanding of individual fund manager quality.  David educates trust and bank officers about MTC's investment philosophy, process, and performance.  He interprets analysis about all investment programs and oversees client communications pertaining to the markets.  David holds an MS in management and administration from St. Michael's College and a BS from the University of Vermont.

Litman/Gregory Asset Management has provided investment management services to individuals, family groups, non-profits and institutions since 1987.  As active investors, Litman/Gregory is systematic and persistent in searching for asset classes that are selling at a considerable discount to their fair value. The firm applies its extensive experience in researching money managers to select only those that it is highly confident will deliver superior long-term performance. Intensive research and a disciplined process are critical to investment success.  In-depth research and careful reasoning underlie every recommendation Litman/Gregory makes to MTC.  Litman/Gregory maintains frequent and meaningful contact with MTC, which assures a strong understanding of the evolving needs of MTC clients.
