Automated Call - Caller ID Spoofing

We have heard from customers that are receiving automated phone calls showing “Merchant Bank” and an operator claiming to be from “Merchant Bank” with a currently used Merchants Bank fax number or phone number in Caller ID. The calls appear to be offering merchant card processing services at reduced rates. We are not making automated phone calls to customers regarding merchant card processing services. We are working to determine the source of this activity. If you receive any such calls, you are encouraged to notify us at 1-800-322-5222.
