Have connected with Garret Spiecker in the past. Unfortunately, he was completely unhelpful and generally impolite. E-mails would come back unreturned and reaching him via telephone was in vain. Overall, have had substantially better service with Chase Private Client and even HSBC Premier (which says a lot since HSBC isn’t all that great). Either First Republic only cares about the $20M+ NW demographic as a general rule/policy, or Garret and his team are the exception and have performed markedly below the bank’s expectations. Would not recommend this bank or banker to anyone. Avoid this service!

Perfect customer service! I had a great dispute with PayPal over charges made by them in error to my account and First Republic Bank waived the fees as PayPal denied making them. The customer service was so nice and efficient. Thank you.
